What’s up?

I know, I know. It’s been way too long since I last updated everyone on what I’ve been up to, but better late than never, right?

I’ve been working on Unbearable, the third instalment of my Keystone series, over the past few months and I’m happy to announce that I’m almost done! Over the next month I’ll be sending it out to my beta’s for their once over and then off to my editor! The end is in sight and I can’t wait for you all to read Tucker and Kelsey’s story! (To be honest, Tucker is my favourite by far!)

Summer tends to be one of the more spontaneous times in the Michelau household. Mr. Michelau works shift so he gets random weekdays off so that’s when we make our trips to the city, go to the movies, and generally hangout. Camping is also one of our favourite summertime activities and we were lucky enough to get out for a few trips. It’s a great time for us to catch up with some close friends and get some much needed relaxation in.  Not to mention, reading. Lots and lots of reading.

I’ve been doing accountability posts on Facebook with a couple of my author friends and it’s been really helping me keep up with my writing schedule. (If you are looking for some new reading material then be sure to check out Sheri Velarde and Leona Bushman.)

So, I wil promise to not only share new releases from some amazing authors, but I will also keep you updated on my progress on a regular basis.

So, I will call it a night for now. Hope you all have a good one.

About The Author

frances stockton photo

My love for storytelling began in kindergarten when I created my first fictional characters. Though I’d given them simple nicknames, I’d convinced my family that Red Henry and Green Henry were identical twin brothers in my elementary school.

They were mischievous, rarely did their homework, had trouble with math and spelling, experienced heartbreaking losses, and yes, they even had girlfriends!

It wasn’t until the Henry twins mysteriously moved to a different state that my family realized that they were entirely fictitious and my mother suggested I write the stories down.

A few years later, I began to write, completing my first manuscript at age thirteen. I confess the heroine was a cross between Nancy Drew and a contemporary Laura Ingalls Wilder, who happened to be dating one of the Hardy Boys. But when I’d written ‘the end’ on the very last page, I’d known I had more stories to tell. Of course life intervened, but whether I was in high school, becoming part of a local theater and dance company, working as a Veterinary Technician, earning a degree in History and Secondary Education, or teaching, I was always writing and reading romances.

Finally, I met and married the love of my life and moved from Maryland to Massachusetts in 2001. Shortly after, I proudly joined Romance Writers of America and the New England Chapter, and I’ve been writing faithfully ever since. I love to hear from readers, connect with me through Facebook, Twitter or by email.
